都筑橘樹十二薬師(Tsuzuki Tachibana celebrated 12 Yakushi temples pilgrimage)
都筑橘樹十二薬師は、神奈川県の旧都筑郡および旧橘樹郡の12カ寺を巡礼する薬師霊場です。霊場設立は古く、江戸時代中期〜後期とされています。
旧都筑郡、旧橘樹郡は現在の神奈川県横浜市港北区、青葉区、都筑区と、川崎市の高津区、宮前区、中原区に当たりますが、この霊場は横浜市港北区、青葉区、都筑区で完結されています。
12年に1度、寅年の4月1日から4月20日にかけて各寺院で薬師様の御開帳が行われ、霊場巡礼もその期間に行われます。
ただし、中には御開帳を取りやめている寺院もありますので、詳しくは公式ホームページをご覧ください。
直近の寅年は、2022年で、御開帳は各日9:00〜16:00となっています。
その後は2034年、2046年、2058年となります。
Here is the pilgrimage round for the celebrated 12 Yakushi temples on old Tsuzuki area and old Tachibana area.
This is made in the middle of Edo era therefore this is very old one.
Spots of the pilgrimage are on Yokohama cities in Kanagawa prefecture because old Tsuzuki area is now on the north area in Yokohama and old Tachibana area is now on the middle in Kawasaki.
Almost temples open to the public their principal image of Yakushi deity once in 12 years.
That year is called "Tora-doshi" in Japanese.
The most recent is held in 2022.
After that, it will be held in 2034, 2046, 2058.
The public period is 9:00 - 16:00 from Apr/1 to April/20 on that years.
We have to make this pilgrimage round during the period.
As a notice, some temples don't open to the public now.
